In today's fast-paced world, finding moments of peace and tranquility can feel like a luxury. However, this isn’t sustainable long term and honestly we all deserve to be taken care of too.  There is one simple yet profound practice that can bring us back to center: decluttering.

Set aside dedicated time ( start with 15 mins and work your way up from there. Here’s my go-to timer I use before every major decluttering project at my house) each day or week to tackle clutter, and approach the process with mindfulness and intention. As you sort through your belongings, ask yourself, "Does this item bring me joy? Does it serve a purpose?" Letting go of unnecessary possessions can feel liberating and empowering.

Cultivate Gratitude

As you declutter, take a moment to express gratitude for the items you choose to keep. Appreciate their role in your life and the joy they bring. Similarly, practice gratitude for the space you're creating—the space for clarity, creativity, and relaxation. 

Let Go of Perfectionism

It's important to approach decluttering with self-compassion and kindness towards yourself. Let go of perfectionism and the need to have everything perfectly organized. Understand that decluttering is a continuous process, and it's okay to take small steps forward, even if progress feels slow at times. Slow is good! Steady progression is more likely to stick long-term.
